Our Mission

First Presbyterian Church is part of the Presbyterian Church (USA).  The congregation was founded in Bemidji in 1896 as the first church of the fledgling community.  We celebrate our past as we embrace our present and future ministries.

 Currently we are a group of people that includes many retirees with a variety of backgrounds who worship, fellowship, and minister together. We believe we are called to lead lives of discipleship and service, and so we share our time and talents in a variety of ways.  We are committed to providing time, energy and funding to a variety of ministries.
